About the Church
Victory Through Faith Church (VTFC) is a non-denominational family of believers. We are not bound by religion or traditions of men. Our purpose is to empower God's people through faith and equip God's people for service. VTFC is a Bible based church called to teach God's people and lead them in the right direction. At VTFC, the Word of God is taught with accuracy and simplicity so that the dormant power within His children can be awakened and activated.
Church Beliefs
- We believe the Bible is the inspired and only infallible written Word of God.
- We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
- We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
- We believe in water baptism as an outward sign of an inward change from spiritual death unto new life.
- We believe in partaking of the Lord's Supper as a memorial of Jesus Christ's death, burial and resurrection for the remission of the sins of mankind.
- We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing and deliverance from the curse of sin and death.
- We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling we are equipped to live a holy and separated life in this present world.
- We are guided by the Word of God.
- We believe that God's Word is the ultimate authority.
- We are subjected to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
- We are free to be who God has created us to be through the finished work of Jesus Christ.
- We believe it's possible to live victorious over sin through the grace of God available to every believer.
